Provider Portal Secondary Claim Submission

Heritage Health (Medicaid):

Nebraska Total Care supports provider submission of electronic claims using our secure provider portal. When submitting secondary claims to Nebraska Total Care via our secure provider portal, please ensure that you complete the following steps to support timely and accurate adjudication of claims with coordination of benefits. 

  • Portal Claim Section: Diagnosis Coding and Additional Insurance Information
    • Select Add Coordination of Benefits
    • Fill out the Carrier and Policy Number information
  • Portal Claim Section: Additional Insurance
    • Enter the requested insurance detail
    • Please note, this section must be filled out to ensure coordination of benefits
  • Portal Claim Section: Attachments
    • Attach the Explanation of Payment to the claim (5MB limit)
