Availity Essentials Provider Training

Nebraska Total Care has chosen Availity Essentials as its secure provider portal. You can validate eligibility and benefits, submit claims, check claim status, submit authorizations, and access Nebraska Total Care payer resources via Availity Essentials.
Upcoming training topics:
- Claims Corrections & Remittance Viewer (Live Webinar/Demo Session)
- Claims Corrections enables a user to make corrections to a claim using pre-populated claims data from the previously submitted claim. The corrected claim will then be resubmitted to the health plan for adjudication.
- Remittance Viewer enables a user to search for payment information to view (and download) the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
- InterQual (Online Module)
- Enables the optional InterQual review for in-patient and out-patient services in the authorization workflow
- Access the online module
- PCP Notifications (Online Module)
- Enables PCP notifications of hospital admissions, discharges, and transfers for their patients via the portal and display clinical messages through the portals Client viewer

Sign up for the live webinars and access the InterQual Training video by following these steps.
- Login to Essentials.
- Select Help & Training > Get Trained.
- The Availity Learning Center (ALC) opens to the Catalog.
- From the catalog, the provider will select Sessions to see the list of live webinars.
- From the catalog, the provider will search InterQual to access the micro training video.
If you are already working in Essentials, you can log in to your existing Essentials account to enroll in training. If you are new to Availity Essentials, register and get started with Availity Essentials to enroll for training and access other helpful resources.
