Vaping 101. Help teens to quit.

Did you know that 1 in 25 Nebraska high school students first tried cigarette smoking before the age of 13? Nearly two-thirds of tobacco using students have tried to quit.

Nebraska Total Care is partnering with the Nebraska Department of Education to offer an overview of tobacco prevention for parents.

Parents will be informed of the types of benefits that can be accessed for youth tobacco cessation. You will gain helpful tools and be informed on the current trends with teen tobacco use. We can work together to reduce the starting and use of tobacco by our teens. There is no cost to attend this training.

The Vaping 101 course will overview:

youth e-cigarette epidemic
effects of e-cigarettes
current vaping laws
strategies to support your teen
signs your teen may be vaping
talking with your teen about vaping
tools for cessation and for tobacco change
